GEIC is looking for an experienced and engaging ERP & Business Applications Team Leader to play a key role in our continued digital transformation and the development of IT Shared Services across Europe.

About the Role

As ERP & Business Applications Team Leader, you will have overall responsibility for GEIC's ERP and business application landscape, with a particular focus on SAP and SAP Concur.

You will be an important part of our IT Shared Services organization, with the opportunity to influence how we manage and develop our business-critical systems across multiple European entities and business units.

The role combines operational responsibility with strategic development. You will lead a team of internal and external resources, work closely with the business and our service providers, and drive initiatives that create more efficient, standardized and cost-effective ways of working.

This is a role for someone who enjoys making things work – while also wanting to improve how they work and enjoy the possibility to make an impact.

In this role, you will:

• Take overall responsibility for the operation, support and service quality of SAP and SAP Concur.

• Lead and develop the ERP application support team, including external partners and service providers.

• Ensure effective incident, problem and change management.

• Drive continuous improvement of processes, systems and ways of working.

• Own the SAP Concur service and its integrations with SAP and other business applications.

• Lead ERP-related projects, including implementations, upgrades, integrations and rollouts.

• Work closely with Finance, HR, Procurement and other business functions to translate business needs into effective IT solutions.

• Drive standardization and harmonization across GEIC's European entities and business units.

• Identify opportunities for automation, simplification and increased self-service.

• Develop relationships with external vendors and ensure the right level of quality, cost efficiency and service.

• Establish a stable and scalable operating model for future ERP support within IT Shared Services.

Who Are You?

At GEIC, you will have the opportunity to work with business-critical systems in an international environment, while having a clear mandate to develop technology, processes and organization.

You will play a central role in building the next generation of GEIC's ERP and Business Applications function – making a tangible difference to the business across multiple European countries.

We would like you to have:

• At least 7 years of IT experience, including significant experience in ERP or business application management.

• At least 3 years of experience in team leadership, service management or application management.

• Strong experience with SAP and enterprise application management.

• Experience with SAP Concur is highly desirable.

• Experience from international organizations operating across multiple countries or legal entities.

• Experience managing external vendors and system integrators.

• Experience delivering ERP projects such as implementations, upgrades, migrations or integrations.

• Good understanding of ITIL-based service management and application lifecycle management.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience with technologies and platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, APIs, ServiceNow or other modern cloud-based business applications is an advantage. Certifications in areas such as ITIL, SAP, SAP Concur, PMP/PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum or TOGAF are also considered a plus.
