About the role

We are looking for a Reporting/GL Accountant to join our growing team. You will play a key role in managing accounting operations and financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and contributing to process improvements within a dynamic and multicultural environment.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting under Local GAAP and IFRS standards.

• Prepare tax filings and other regulatory reports, ensuring full compliance.

• Monitor and forecast cash flow, maintaining close coordination with HQ and local stakeholders.

• Perform account reconciliations, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies.

• Lead internal control and SOX reviews, contributing to a strong governance framework.

• Support internal and external audits, coordinating with all parties to ensure accurate documentation and timely completion.

• Analyze KPIs, trends, and variances, preparing reports and action plans to align with business targets.

• Provide financial insights, guidance, and support on topics such as bookings, accruals, and taxes.

• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Collaborate across teams and functions to ensure effective communication, consistency, and continuous improvement in accounting and reporting processes.

What we hope you’ll bring to the team

• 5–8 years of experience in a similar accounting or reporting role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and tax regulations (Revenue Recognition, CIT, VAT).

• Experience working with ERPs (ideally SAP or SAP S/4HANA) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Familiarity with internal controls and SOX is a plus.

• Fluent English (C1 level).

• A proactive, hands-on attitude and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

• Team spirit and curiosity to learn and contribute in a multicultural setting.
