About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant (PTP Accountant) to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the Procure-to-Pay (PtP) process, ensuring accurate supplier payments, robust financial data, and smooth interaction with internal and external stakeholders. You will support the development of an efficient, digital-first financial operation while working in a dynamic, multicultural setting.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day

• Process supplier invoices, payment proposals, and handle invoice‑related queries.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain updated documentation (DTPs).

• Support internal and external audits, identifying errors and suggesting efficiency improvements.

• Prepare and review PTP GL account reconciliations and resolve variances promptly.

• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, meeting established timelines.

• Analyze KPIs, contribute to reports, and participate in Steering Committee meetings.

• Collaborate on continuous improvement and harmonization initiatives focused on quality and standardization.

• Maintain effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring proper documentation, periodic follow‑ups, and timely escalation of issues.

What we hope you’ll bring to the team

• Experience in an Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay role, ideally within an international or shared services environment.

• Experience with SAP (preferably S/4HANA) and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, IFRS, and SOX compliance.

• Fluent English (C1) and familiarity with automation tools such as Power BI or Power Apps (a plus).

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent practical experience.

• Problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, high integrity, and readiness to learn new tools.
